Cabo Bride

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: Sept 2026

At Cabo Bride, we respect the trust you place in us when you share your wedding story, connect with a vendor, request a magazine, or shop with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information.

Cabo Bride is operated by Cabo Bride Magazine, located in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico which is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

This policy applies to cabobride.com, our magazine and editorial activities, vendor directory, newsletters, magazine requests, and direct purchases when available.

Questions or privacy requests may be sent to president@cabobride.com.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with Cabo Bride, we may collect:

  • Contact information: Your name, email address, telephone number, and mailing address.
  • Wedding inquiries: Your wedding date, destination, estimated guest count, budget information where requested, preferred services, and messages to a vendor or venue.
  • Editorial submissions: Photographs, videos, wedding stories, questionnaires, contributor credits, social media handles, and publication permissions.
  • Business information: Vendor contact details, listing materials, advertising agreements, and payment or billing records.
  • Purchase information: Products ordered, billing and delivery addresses, transaction status, correspondence, and return or refund records.
  • Website activity: IP address, browser and device information, referral source, pages viewed, link clicks, and form submissions, depending on the technologies enabled.
  • Communication preferences: Newsletter subscriptions, consent records, and unsubscribe requests.

Payment providers process payment credentials according to their own privacy notices. Please do not send full payment-card details through email or general inquiry forms.

Please avoid including sensitive personal information in general messages. Where editorial material or another requested service involves sensitive information, we will obtain any additional consent required by applicable law.

How We Use Your Information

We use information as necessary to:

  • Respond to questions and provide requested assistance.
  • Deliver inquiries to the vendor or venue you select.
  • Manage directory listings and advertising relationships.
  • Review editorial submissions and publish authorized content.
  • Fulfill magazine requests and purchases.
  • Process payments, deliveries, returns, and customer support.
  • Maintain business records, protect our website, and meet legal obligations.

Optional activities include sending newsletters and promotional messages and using nonessential tracking technologies. Where required, we obtain separate consent for these activities. Declining optional marketing does not prevent you from submitting an inquiry or making a purchase.

Vendor and Venue Inquiries

When you submit an inquiry through a vendor or venue profile, Cabo Bride receives and retains your inquiry and sends it to the business identified on the form so that it can respond directly.

The information shared may include your contact details, wedding details, and message. The selected business handles the information it receives under its own privacy policy and applicable obligations.

We do not send your inquiry to additional vendors unless you request or authorize that disclosure. Common ownership with another business does not, by itself, authorize sharing your inquiry with that business.

Submitting an inquiry does not automatically subscribe you to Cabo Bride newsletters or unrelated promotional messages.

Directory Activity and Reporting

We measure activity such as profile views, website and social media link clicks, and submitted inquiries to understand how our directory performs.

Vendors and venues may receive aggregate reports about activity on their profiles, together with the inquiries addressed to them. Routine reports do not include identifiable browsing histories.

A page view, click, or inquiry does not necessarily represent a booking or sale.

Newsletters and Marketing

If you choose to subscribe, we may email you wedding inspiration, magazine announcements, boutique updates, and Cabo Bride offers.

You may unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or by contacting president@cabobride.com. We may retain limited information to ensure that your unsubscribe preference is respected.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent necessary communications about an order, inquiry, agreement, or privacy request.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website uses technologies that support its operation and may use optional tools to measure traffic, remember preferences, or support marketing.

Necessary Cookies: These cookies help the website function properly and support basic features such as website security, page navigation, forms, and other essential functions. These tools may collect information such as pages visited, time spent on the website, traffic sources, browser type, device information, and general website interactions. Analytics cookies may remain on your device for a period ranging from a single session to approximately two years, depending on the service being used.

Functional Cookies: These cookies may remember choices and preferences made while using the website, allowing us to provide a more convenient and personalized browsing experience. Functional cookies may remain on your device for a session or for a longer period, depending on their purpose.

Third-Party Cookies: Some features or content on Cabo Bride may be provided by third-party services, such as video, social media, analytics, advertising, or other website functionality. Marketing and Advertising Cookies: If used, these technologies may help measure the effectiveness of advertising, understand visitor interactions, create audiences, or provide advertising that may be relevant to visitors. These cookies may remain on a device for periods ranging from several weeks to several months or longer, depending on the provider and the purpose of the cookie.

When We Disclose Information

We disclose relevant information to:

  • The vendor or venue you select when submitting an inquiry.
  • Providers supporting website hosting, forms, email delivery, data storage, analytics, payments, publishing, and customer service.
  • Fulfillment providers and carriers delivering magazines or merchandise.
  • Professional advisers or authorities when disclosure is legally required or otherwise lawfully necessary.
  • Parties involved in a business reorganization or transfer, subject to applicable protections.

Providers processing information on our behalf are subject to appropriate confidentiality, security, and processing obligations. Independent vendors responding to inquiries are responsible for their own handling of that information.

We do not sell personal information for money. If future advertising practices involve a legally defined sale or sharing of information, we will update our disclosures and provide the required choices before introducing those practices.

Wedding Stories, Photographs, and Publication

If your submission is selected, approved names, photographs, stories, and credits may appear in our print magazine, website, social media, and other channels authorized by the applicable submission agreement.

Our separate agreement defines the publication permissions granted. Appropriate permissions must also be obtained from photographers and other rights holders.

Published content may be publicly accessible. Contact us with questions about corrections or removal. Removing online content cannot recall print copies already distributed or copies independently retained by others, and requests remain subject to applicable rights and obligations.

Complimentary Magazine Distribution

Participating bridal shops and other distribution locations may offer complimentary copies of Cabo Bride.

Simply picking up a copy does not provide Cabo Bride with your personal information. If you later visit our website, submit a request, subscribe, or purchase directly from us, this policy applies to that interaction. CaboBride may update its use of cookies and tracking technologies from time to time as website features, analytics services, advertising services, and other third-party technologies change.

International Processing

Cabo Bride operates in Mexico and may use providers or fulfillment resources in the United States and other countries.

When information is processed or transferred internationally, we use the notices, consent mechanisms, contractual protections, and other safeguards required by applicable law.

Information Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for its stated purpose, applicable recordkeeping obligations, dispute resolution, and security.

Retention depends on the record. Order records may need to be kept for tax and accounting purposes; publication permissions may be retained to document authorized use; and limited unsubscribe records may be kept to respect marketing preferences. When information is no longer needed, we delete, anonymize, or otherwise handle it as required by law.

We use appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No transmission or storage system is completely secure. If an incident occurs, we will investigate and provide notifications required by applicable law.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information; oppose or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or exercise other available privacy rights.

In Mexico, access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition are commonly known as ARCO rights.

To make a request, email president@cabobride.com with the subject Privacy Request. Include your name, a reply to method, the right you wish to exercise, and enough information to locate the relevant records. For corrections, identify the information that should change.

We may request appropriate identity verification or proof that a representative is authorized to act for you. Please do not send identity documents unsolicited.

We respond within applicable legal deadlines and explain any lawful limitations. Consent withdrawal applies going forward and does not invalidate prior lawful processing. Some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations.

You may also contact the privacy authority with jurisdiction over your concern.

Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can investigate.

Editorial submissions depicting children require appropriate permissions.

Policy Updates

We may update this policy as our services or practices change. The revised version will appear on this page with a new effective date.

We will provide additional notice or obtain new consent when required. Continued website use does not replace consent where separate consent is legally required.
