Set on a hilltop in the East Cape of Los Cabos, Monte Cardón is a private culinary estate with views of the desert, mountains, and Sea of Cortés. Founded by chef Ubaldo Martínez and his wife, Ourem, the estate brings food and hospitality to the Baja landscape.

Couples have exclusive use of the property on their wedding day. Six distinct spaces let a celebration move naturally from a sunset ceremony to cocktails, dinner, and dancing. A bridal suite offers a space to get ready, while tables, chairs, tableware, glassware, napkins, and architectural lighting are included with the estate fee. These features give couples a starting point for their design.

Cuisine is central to a wedding at Monte Cardón. Chef Ubaldo works with each couple to create a menu for their celebration. His contemporary Mexican cooking has Baja and Mediterranean influences and follows a slow food philosophy centered on seasonal ingredients and their origins. The kitchen draws much of its produce and seafood from nearby ranches, farms, and fishing boats.

Monte Cardón also welcomes guests beyond weddings. Its Baja Desert Dining Experience offers a six-course dinner at sunset, and hands-on cooking classes invite guests to prepare and enjoy a three-course meal. The estate hosts private gatherings, including birthdays, anniversaries, and family reunions.

Across these occasions, Monte Cardón emphasizes attentive hosting. Its private setting, chef-led menus, and open desert views give couples a way to share the flavors and scenery of Baja with the people closest to them.
